The contour canal (LS 0.000 kilometres to 11.480 kilometres and 30.100 kilometres to LS 49.300 kilometres) was rehabilitated. The project was completed in a record time of 13 months despite adverse conditions such as heavy rainfall and the area being part of a reserve forest. The width of the canal is 7 meters.
We constructed a surplus regulator across the Vaipar River of the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu. The highlights of the project were the heavy rock excavation and the mass coursed rubble masonry construction at a height of 17.50 meters.
We undertook a turnkey project to supply treated water to Madurai Corporation under the Vaigai water supply scheme. The project comprises of a water treatment plant, elevated service reservoir capacity of 16 litre, 10 litre and 5 litre, distribution lines of 150 millimetre-diameter to 300 millimetre-diameter AC Class 15 pipes, PSC pipes, ranging between 600 millimetres and 1,000 millimetres in diameter, HDPE pipes ranging from 225 millimetres in diameter, CI pipes and GEP pipes.
The project involved the construction of a 25 litre sump at SIPCOT Industrial growth centre, Perundurai. Some of the highlights of the project are RCC UG sump, external lighting arrangements, open well submersible pump set and PVC coated chain link fence.
